Trust is the building block for Lijith and Sneha

Lijith and Sneha both created their profiles on m4marry on their own. They wanted to explore and make connections at their own speed, and in their own comfort. They wanted to take time to find the right person, someone who was ready to make the connection. Their families were all about encouraging them to do just that.

Lijith was a civil engineer working in Abu Dhabi, while Sneha was an engineering graduate, working as a partnership expert based in Sharjah. Lijith found Sneha’s profile to be refreshingly honest; it looked to be of someone who was deeply grounded and genuine. Sneha found Lijith’s profile had just one photo, but his bio reflected his innate sincerity, and she found herself accepting his interest. In another week’s time they were constantly talking to each other and then decided to meet in person, over a movie and breakfast. 

And though they got on well with each other just as they had expected, when Sneha requested him to drop her back to her house in Sharjah, Lijith found that he could not stomach the rush hour traffic and gently refused. It almost made Sneha rethink her decision to say yes. But Lijith soon made up to that one lost opportunity by dropping her home every day to Sharjah after office till their marriage, “One has to go miles for true love,” Lijith adds.

Lijith and Sneha were married at the Wasava Cliff House, Kannur, on 25th January, 2025. Lijith and Sneha were actively involved in aspects of the wedding, coordinating the events from the UAE. They wanted a traditional ceremony, keeping all the customs intact. In fact, they insisted that even the wedding invitations be printed in Malayalam and that all the boards for the wedding be in Malayalam as well, honouring the legacy of a culture they were proud of. Their ceremony was poignant with the presence and blessings of loved ones, especially that of Sneha’s 95 year-old grandmother. 

Lijit and Sneha have only one word of advice to offer members of m4marry: “To never give up on each other - no matter what.”
