South Indian Festive look trends

The year started on an auspicious note with Pongal and Makar Sankranti, and South’s style icons defined festive wear trends with gorgeous attires.

Newly wed Keerthy Suresh wore a lime green embroidered saree from Ekaya Benaras, with a hot pink blouse.  The saree had floral motifs and zari stripes, keeping it contemporary while being suited for a festive occasion.  She paired it with a large jhumka and pink bangles.  She wore her hair in a messy bun and wore jasmine flowers.  She kept her make up simple and fuss free.

nayantara opted for pristine beige for the festive pictures.  She paired her beautiful salwar kurta with a dupatta in the same light weight fabric, and the monochromatic tone gave her a graceful elegance.  She accentuated the ethnic look with large oxised earrings and left her hair free.

Actress Swasika picked the classic red for Pongal.  She wore a brilliant red benarasi saree with buttas, with stripes at the borders.  She paired it with heavy jhumkas, red bangles and jasmine on her hair bun.

Aishwarya Lakshmi kept her look elegant in a demure blue linen saree.  She paired it with a sleeveless high neck blouse, an aesthetic jhumka and glass bangles.
